Do you have children who are chomping at the bit to make some extra cash this summer by babysitting? Make sure they receive proper training by having them attend a babysitting class from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, in McDonald Hall at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital (2661 County Highway I).
HSHS Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s hospitals are hosting a free session for anyone who would like to learn how to recognize the warning signs that someone may be thinking about suicide, and how to help them. The training is called “Question, Persuade, Refer” – or "QPR" for short.
