Chris Klay, MA, PT, CCIRehabilitation Services Director | St. Joseph's Hospital since 2009
Chris has service line responsibility over physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, wound care, hyperbaric medicine, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. This service area provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative and wellness services for all individuals pediatric through late adulthood. Before joining St. Joseph's Hospital, Chris served as the Director of Rehabilitation Services at Cumberland Memorial Hospital. He has also worked as a staff physical therapist at Marshfield Clinic-Eau Claire Center and Barron Medical Center. Chris continues to provide specialty wound care services to Knapp Haven Nursing Home in Chetek. His clinical interests include orthopedics, sports medicine, wound care, occupational health, vestibular rehabilitation, geriatrics and clinical instruction of future physical therapists. Chris is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association. A Chetek native, Chris now lives in Chippewa Falls with his wife, Leslie and sons, Caden and Cooper. He enjoys spending time with family, barefoot water skiing, golfing, hunting, fishing, and traveling. |
