Melissa has a wide variety of experience with a the Birth-to-Three Program. The majority of her time is focused on home visits for the Birth-to-Three Program in Chippewa and Eau Claire counties. She is especially interested in the deaf and hard of hearing population.

In 2010, Melissa became SKI-HI certified to work with families of children with hearing loss from birth to age six. She has also worked as a Home Early Listening Program (HELP) consultant for deaf and hard of hearing children in the Chippewa Valley. She has experience with working with children with unilateral hearing loss, cochlear implants, and auditory neuropathy. Melissa loves the diversity and new experiences in working with young children and their families.

Melissa has resided in Eau Claire for the past 18 years and currently enjoys spending time with her young family. She enjoys reading, hiking, biking, skiing, and most outdoor activities in her free time.
