Who We Are

Friends of St. Joseph's Hospital is the friend-raising and fund-raising arm of the Hospital and all its service areas, including its Home Health and Hospice Services; the LE Phillips-Libertas Treatment Center in Chippewa Falls; the Libertas Center in Green Bay; and their outpatient treatment clinics.

The Friends of St. Joseph's Hospital Board of Directors works closely with Hospital administration and the Development Office to advance the comprehensive resource development program of St. Joseph's Hospital. A separate Resource Development Committee works in the same fashion on behalf of the Libertas Center in Green Bay. All contributions (including gifts of cash and securities, gifts of real or personal property and gifts-in-kind) are received, recorded and acknowledged for St. Joseph's Hospital by the Development Office.

OUR HISTORY

From modest beginnings in 1885 to state-of-the-art facilities we have today, the Hospital has remained committed to serving others as they would want to be served.

St. Joseph's Hospital is staffed by more than 80 physicians on the active medical staff and over 600 dedicated colleagues.

Since the Foundation was established in 1985, gifts have been bountiful. Permanent endowment totals more than $7 million and two recent capital campaigns have resulted in gifts totaling $4.1 million for the renovation and expansion of the Emergency Services Area and $500,000 for the creation of the new center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine.

Each gift received by the Foundation is used in its entirety for the healthcare mission of St. Joseph's Hospital.
